Jenny Trezise is passionate about helping people improve their health and wellbeing.
Founder of Allergy Train, Jenny knows what it’s like to manage multiple allergies and intolerances within her family.
She created Allergy Train after herself and several family members became aware of issues with excess fructose consumption and intolerances to gluten and range of food groups including salicylates, dairy and food additives. Overtime she realised just time, money and effort was spent trying to hunt down suitable, nutritious and tasty foods.
“Travelling to different health food shops, reading labels, learning new recipes, and cooking many more foods from scratch was draining and at times overwhelming, but essential.”
“On top of this, our two children have both had multiple food protein and chemical sensitivities requiring strict diet control since birth. Ensuring our children are eating a range of nutritious foods and growing and developing normally despite food intolerances is an on-going challenge. Managing their symptoms when their tolerance levels are surpassed is also challenging. Fussy eating and behavioural issues in the older child and unsettledness, colic and reflux in the younger child are amongst the symptoms we live with when their diet is not well controlled.”
Jenny is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, with a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement). Her experience in dietetics includes, community and public health nutrition as well as private consulting in allergies and intolerances.
